Home Stretch

Well, we are counting down the days til Megan's arrival on Friday.  It has been so strange, and so wonderful at the same time, to know the exact day that she will join our family.  It has given me a deadline for all the projects I have been trying to accomplish, but also a reminder to cherish the last moments of our family of only 3.  Here are some pictures and video from the last couple weeks....and next time I post there will be a cute pink bundle in the photos!

These are some pics of our harvest costume party that we love going to at church every year.  There is always some stiff competition, as our friends are incredibly creative and very hush-hush on what they have planned until they arrive the night of the party.  John and Ben were disco kings and I (or more accurately, Megan) was the disco ball.  Everyone loved it and we even won the prize for Funniest Costume!  Go Team Norsworthy!

(sorry about the poor lighting and messy floor....)

Ben didn't have a clue what we were up to and thought the clothes were strange....but once we started calling them "funny shirt, funny pants" he thought it was great.  He dubbed John's wig "funny hat" and kept giggling at Daddy.

A sneak peek at Megan's room...

A little outing with the mommies and Grandma to Whole Foods for a treat

With all the leaves that fell from our beautiful trees we made a big pile in our front yard.  Every day when we would come home from errands and such Ben would ask with excited anticipation, "Walk, leaves?  Jump, leaves?"

This picture is the spitting image of John as a little boy.  I love that he looks like his handsome Daddy!

Our adorable redhead nephew Wes loved the pumpkin on the front porch

And then he went in for a taste.....turned out to be a little disappointing.

But the boys worked together to try and move it

Grandma made Ben the happiest 2 year old in the world by whipping up (literally, one afternoon she just put it together in probably less than an hour....yeah, she is Super Grandma!) a tool belt.  He was so ecstatic and kept showing everyone his "too bewt!"

And then Grandpa, Super Carpenter of a Grandpa, whipped up some handmade wooden hammers for the boys....oh there was a little bit of heaven in our house that night!

This video is an update on Ben's animal sound repertoire.  We were sitting on the stairs waiting for trick-or-treaters and had a little fun of our own.
